Arboretum

We went to the Arboretum again before it got too incredibly hot.

The kids LOVED these fish.

We spent some time in the kids area again, and this time the kids wore swimsuits so they could get totally wet.

Meeting Jameson

We finally met Jameson! He was seven weeks old when we met him. We went to Midland for his blessing. It was nice to see lots of family and to hold a sweet baby!

On Saturday we went to Rebecca’s brother’s house and hung out. Ping pong, video games, cousins, and new friends kept us having fun.

Saturday night we had a family dinner at the church. There were at least 30 people there! We ate, talked, played basketball, played knockout, and watched the kids entertain us on the stage with random “performances."

We made sure to eat at Taco Villa one day, and these are some of the flowers right outside. I love the striped ones!

Sunday was Mother’s Day, so we got some pictures of moms and kids.

We also took pictures with sweet little Jameson. Here is all of Chris and Rebecca’s family who came for the blessing.

The brothers and the baby.

The Cooper Clan who were there

The whole reason for our trip. :-)

Claire with her baby cousin. She loves babies!

Ham’s Orchard

We went to Ham’s Orchard and met the whole family there. Aunt Kelly helped Dayton pick blackberries.

Many of the rest of us enjoyed them, too. (But the ants and the mud were no fun!)

We ate lunch there. I loved the peach pulled pork sandwich! And Claire loved her hot dog. (No surprise there!)
The rocking chairs are always a favorite.

We came home with peaches, watermelon, berries, peach coffee cake, and blueberry bread. Delicious!!!
