Once we got home, we put out some cookies for Santa, and the kids went to bed. Since this is the best picture I got, I’ve included other pictures of the kids in their pajamas by the tree.

Cooper Christmas Stockings
With the Coopers, we draw names of someone to buy stocking items for, and then we look at them on Christmas Eve and try to guess who bought for us.
Evan was ready to get the party started!
Dayton went first, since he’s the youngest, and boy, was he excited about this candy! In fact, he also saw this picture just now and got excited all over again!
Claire wasn’t sure what to think of R2D2,
but she liked her stamp and other goodies!
Orange Fanta! Yay for Kyle!
Sometimes it’s just too much, isn’t it?!
Chocolate for Rebecca :-)
The big boys got shirts to match their attitudes...
His face says it all!
Jordan has learned a lot from this magazine.
I got a watermelon-themed stocking, which I have thoroughly enjoyed!
And of course this dark orange chocolate was fantastic, too!
Mel got a cute rug.
How awesome are you, Stephen?
Someone got Lou a ring?!! In her stocking?!! Oh, wait! It’s just a mug! This was awesome!
Steve got an interesting book - a signed copy about “The Loon in my Bathtub."
We had a fun night!

Cooper Amazing Race
On Christmas Eve we did a Cooper Amazing Race! We’re getting ready for the day!
Steve explained the rules. We had to solve puzzles, figure out clues, go different places, figure out more clues, and continue until we crossed the finish line! It was pretty awesome!
I don’t have pictures from during the race because we were working hard to win! (Last time we did this, I am the reason why my team lost. This time, we won!)

Cookies at the Park
One warm winter day, we decorated Christmas sugar cookies at the park. I loved having the mess of sprinkles land on the ground at the park instead of on my kitchen floor!
See Dayton in the background? He ate a lot of cookies!
Kyle really got into decorating his stash of cookies.
Ryan needed some extra strength from his head to get the icing out.
Evan had to be told when enough was enough when it came to the icing and sprinkles.
Rebecca and Chris decorated some, too!
The girls!
Yummy!
As Chris and Rebecca would say, Chris was practicing his dad skills.
I love Christmas cookies!
