Arkansas 2016, take 5

We all headed to Hot Springs one day. Some people went to the Buckstaff Bathhouse. Some of us took the kids to a movie. We met up and went bowling together.

That evening we took nice family photos, at least, those of us with all of our families present did.

And we got a picture of Grandma and Grandpa with the grandkids.

Arkansas 2016, take 4

Here’s the view from the Swaha House.

We took some group and family photos in our Cooper shirts.

This is the day that I was feeling sick, sick, sick. But Bando had to leave that afternoon, so we couldn’t postpone our family photo.

The kids did various crafts under Mel’s direction.

Stephen was bombarded by the boys.

Jameson gave some good smirks and and sweet faces.

We decided to try river tubing this year. (I think we were going to do that some other year, but the river was too low).

And we’re off!

We saw some nice wildlife along the way.

The kids played in the water while we waited for the bus to pick us up and take us back. Some people floated the river a second time. I went back with my kids and some of the others. 

After the second time floating the river, some people were hanging out in the water again while they were waiting for the bus, and then someone saw this:

Look at that snake! It’s huge!!!!!! They got out of the water as quickly as possible! Yikes!
