Happy Anniversary, Bando! I love you!

Dayton - 7 months

Dayton’s a sweet little guy! He started army crawling a week or two ago, and now he also gets up on his hands and toes sometimes. I have seen him on his hands and knees a few times, too.

His body seems longer to me these days, and he still gets lots of comments about those cheeks of his. He really doesn’t like it when he has to burp; he will cry and cry and cry, and then a little burp might come up. I love his little laugh and happy face and sweet smile!

Father’s Day

On Father’s Day, we made breakfast for Jordan, and he opened some presents.

We went to church, and then Stephen, Mel, and the boys came over for dinner. We had homemade pizza.

Happy Father’s Day to the two dads who were in my house that day.

Claire and Kyle delivered some strawberry pie to their dads as a special treat.

 Also, happy Father’s Day to my dad and Jordan’s dad.

How do we look?

I love seeing Claire’s imagination at work. Here are a few photos that show her creativity while playing with her babies.

Notice that the horse, (whose name is Nay Nay), has Jordan’s ID badge hanging from her ear. Also, you can’t really tell what it is in the picture, but the lion has some bunny ears around his body. And that’s a Mario hat he’s wearing. 

Here, the giraffe is in a princess dress, and most of these animals got a bag to wear as a hat.

Under the Bench

Little Dayton made his way under the piano bench! It was cute when he was on his back, and he was touching the pedals with his feet.

Playing Train

When I was little, I remember playing train with Marshall and Peter by lining up all the chairs in the house through the living room and the kitchen. We put stuffed animals on the chairs and gave them snacks to eat and magazines to read.

Claire, Kyle, Ryan, and Evan needed something new to keep their attention the other day, so I suggested that they play train. They seemed to like it.

Tea Party

Claire went to a tea party last weekend, and she got to wear a princess dress. She was so excited. - And she knew they weren’t really going to have tea; they drank apple juice. I’m glad she had fun!

Cute

My good friend from Baton Rouge sent Claire and Dayton some cute, matching clothes. You can’t really see the clothes very well here, (I think Claire’s has some lemons on it), but aren’t the kids cute, too??!! I think so! :-)

• Length - 26.75 inches - 51st percentile
• Head Circumference - 46.5 cm - 99th percentile
