She pretty much made these all by herself!

Chef Claire
HEB had a child cooking class every week in the summer. That seems like something I would go to every week, right? Well, we only made it there one time, but I’m glad we did! Claire absolutely loved making her own corn dog bites, and we bought a few ingredients so that she could make them at home, too.

July 4th
Independence Day! What a wonderful day to celebrate! Jordan had to work on July 4th, so we had an early lunch with Grandma, Grandpa, Stephen, Mel, Kyle, Ryan, and Evan. We also went swimming. (And I read a book while Dayton took a nap! Sounds good to me!)
We had Grandpa RJ’s delicious BBQ chicken. Ryan especially enjoyed it!
The kids played around before we left to see the fireworks.
And they played around while we were waiting for the fireworks to start.
Dayton took off on his own a few times.
I love Claire’s face in this one!
And finally the fireworks began!
Happy Independence Day, America!

Galveston: 10th Anniversary!
Jordan and I were able to go out to celebrate our 10th anniversary while we were in Galveston! We had a fantastic dinner!
And a fantastic dessert. :-)
I love you, Jordan! I’m glad to celebrate 10 years with you!

Galveston: Family
Jordan had to go back to College Station to work, but the kids and I stayed through the weekend. This is the best picture we got of the kids with me.
