Before school started, Claire showed off some of her new school clothes. Dayton wanted in on the fun, too. Granddad was home to watch, so he and I enjoyed the hilarity of the poses.

Claire - First Grade

Claire started first grade this year! She’s excited!!

Independence Day

On Independence Day, Claire showed off the flag she made with Grandmom,

I saw Lynnlei,

and we swam and chowed down on some yummy food.

It was great to spend time with family!

Fireworks

We went to an July 4th celebration. The kids got to climb up and slide down big, inflated slides.

They got to play on a big inflated pirate ship.

They were worn out as they waited in line again. - It’s a good thing they already went on the slide because the people started deflating it!

They also played in a firetruck.

And they played on a playground.

We walked around the booths and found one where a photographer took our picture.

Aunt Laura and Belton found it, too!

Finally, it was time for fireworks!

Father’s Day

We had truffle fillet of beef sandwiches to celebrate Father’s Day.
