Great Wolf Lodge

The day after Thanksgiving we headed to Dallas to go to Great Wolf Lodge! Stephen, Mel, and their boys have gone there each year for the past few years. Different people have gone with them. Three years ago, Jordan took Claire there, and I had a weekend to myself at home right before Dayton was born. But this time, I came along, too! Chris, Rebecca, Jameson, Stephen, Mel, Kyle, Ryan, Evan, Grandma, Grandpa, and all of us were there. We had a great time!

I love the wolf ears!

Before swimming one day:

Dayton worked and worked to make it all the way across, and he finally did it!

Nap time for baby Jameson!

Snack time for Dayton!

Despite the conveyor belt (to bring the big tubes to the top of the slide) not working part of the time, we had a great time. My family and I definitely enjoyed swimming and playing at Great Wolf Lodge! Claire was exactly 48 inches tall, so she got to go on all the slides! She had fun!

Until next time, Great Wolf Lodge!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a pretty easy day on Thanksgiving. The kids did a puzzle, watched TV, and played together.

We also played kick ball outside - until the ball got deflated.

Aunt Rebecca and Jameson - looking super cute!

We enjoyed a simple meal of BBQ turkey, brisket, and ham with some sides. After dinner, some people went to the A&M game.

We are very blessed and very thankful for each other, our health, our families, and all of our blessings!

Dayton’s Birthday!!!

We were in College Station for Dayton’s birthday, so we celebrated with the Coopers. After eating at Chuy’s, we went to Grandma and Grandpa’s house, where Dayton opened presents and we ate cupcakes.

The silly birthday boy!

He was so excited to get the fishing game from Aunt Mel and Uncle Stephen! - He had actually been looking for it at their house, but it was tucked away to give to him, since he likes it so much!

Wow!

He wanted party hats for his party. Any time I’d talk about his birthday, he would tell me we needed to get party hats for his party.

The cousins liked the hats, too.

- Except for Jameson. Jameson didn’t like the hat!

(This was the second time they put the hat on Jameson. The first time, he cried and cried. He did NOT like that party hat!)

Happy birthday, Dayton!

We love you and are so thankful for your funny, silly caring personality!

Chuy’s Birthday!

To celebrate the November birthdays, we went to Chuy’s while we were in College Station. We went on Dayton’s actual birthday, too. It was delicious, as usual! I love Chuy’s!

TAMU Football Game

Our whole family was able to go to a TAMU football game, since Grandma and Grandpa got extra tickets. It was cold in the shade that day!

Yes, I wore maroon, but I had no markings on my clothing for TAMU. (Don’t worry!) :-)
