A couple of weeks ago, our playgroup met at Blue Baker, a local bakery, for a tour. It was fun for the kids and the adults! After seeing the big machines, ovens, and the big bags of flour and sugar in the back, all the kids got to adorn some dough with chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, raisins, and craisins. Then we all ate fresh, warm chocolate chip cookies!
Later that afternoon, we went back to the bakery to pick up Claire's bread. She wasn't too interested in eating it, but that was fine with me because I ate all but her one slice! (She doesn't share my same love of all things carbohydrates!)
What a cool idea for a playgroup!
