Arkansas 2018 - Garvan Woodland Gardens

On the day it rained and we had to change our plans, Jordan, Josh, and I took the kids to Garvan Woodland Gardens. We enjoyed the cooler weather, the beautiful plants and flowers, the koi ponds, the bridges, the running water, being outside, and running around. The kids enjoyed working on a nature bingo card.

Dayton was not thrilled at this moment!

But he loved having this umbrella - just in case it rained.

At one point, a kind man driving a golf cart passed Dayton and me. He offered us a ride. Dayton, who was tired of walking at that point, was happy to hop on. But the driver didn’t know what he was getting into! - As we caught up with the other kids in our group, each kid wanted to get on, too. The driver was kind enough to let everyone on, and I got off so there was room for everyone.

We saw (and heard) some peacocks!

We went into the Anthony Chapel, which is also at the Garvan Woodland Gardens. Jordan and I have been there once before. I still think it is absolutely stunning!

After our trip to the Gardens, we met the other adults at Scoops for some yummy ice cream!
