Jordan worked and worked, and the big day finally came! On May 9, 2008, he graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston School of Nursing! (How's that for a long name?!!)
Here's a pre-game photo I wanted. He's all set to go inside and graduate!
The graduates walked in to the traditional "Pomp and Circumstance." At this very moment, Jordan was watching the Cooper/Hervey clan that had gathered in his support.
Here are some action shots as Jordan's name was called!
Look at this happy grad! Doesn't he look great in a cap and gown?!!! I think so!
I'm so proud of Jordan. He has worked so hard to get to this moment, and now he has graduated. He definitely deserves the best!
Here's a picture of Jordan with Peter...
...and here's a picture of Jordan with Taylor! Taylor was VERY tired! - This was his 2nd graduation of the day, after all, and he was a very good boy at both of them!
Here are more pictures from after the graduation. I know it meant a lot to Jordan that so many of you came to his graduation. Not everyone who came is pictured here, but we both want to say thank you for supporting him through these past 2 years and at his graduation!
Jordan will take the NCLEX, (the state licensing test for RN's), on June 3rd, and he starts work at the Methodist Hospital in the Medical Center on July 21. He'll be working the night shift in the cardiovascular intensive care unit. Congratulations, Jordan!!!!
