Happy (or not) Halloween

Jordan worked on Halloween, so the first trick-or-treating stop we made was to his work. The kids loved it. (And the staff loved seeing some cute kids!)

Then we came back home and walked next door. But by then Claire was feeling awful. So we tried driving. We drove to a friend’s house the street over. When we got there I told Claire she still had to get out of the car to get candy. She said, “Really?” We were going to drive to Aunt Mel and Uncle Stephen’s house and to Grandma and Grandpa’s house, but Claire chose to go home, lie on the couch, and watch as I handed out candy. Dayton loved getting into his loot from the night.

And Claire did this:

At least trunk-or-treating was a success the night before!
