Bahamas

Jordan and I went to Nassau in the Bahamas for a few days! We had an amazing time! It was a very relaxing vacation! I took a lot of pictures, so I'm just going to put a lot of them here, and you can look through them as quickly or slowly as you like!

We flew to Miami, where we had an overnight stay, and the next morning we got up and flew to Nassau on this propeller plane! As we were sitting on the plane, Jordan noticed our luggage outside on a luggage cart, and we were both glad that it was there, since we had checked it in the previous day. We had a good flight, and we saw the beautiful water from the plane as we got closer. Then we landed and went to get our luggage, but it never came!!! Our luggage was on the runway, but it didn't make it onto the plane! It came on the next flight from Miami, and it was delivered to our room for us. But we didn't miss a beat because we came prepared. - We had our swimsuits and a little bit of sunscreen in our carry-on, so when we arrived, we changed and then went exploring!

We stayed at Atlantis, which is a resort with lots of places to stay and lots of things to do. It was kind of like a cruise, Las Vegas, a water park, and an aquarium -- all in one! This is a view of some of the towers with the marina in the front.

Another look at the marina.

The guy who took this picture was an Atlantis employee, and he simply offered to take our picture. We thanked him, and he said, "Oh, it's my job to stand right here and offer to take pictures of people." Cool!

Here is another set of towers where people can stay. It was a great view from here!

(In case you're wondering, Jordan was protecting himself from the sun with his towel like this!)

This "beach" is actually still a part of Atlantis. You can do things like rent kayaks or go snorkeling in this area.

Everything was so pretty! I really liked that they made everything look so natural. I don't know if natural is the right word, but it all went very well together.

Stay tuned! More will be coming soon!
