I thoroughly enjoyed my watermelon this evening! I hope that someone else out there was able to enjoy watermelon today, too! The coolest thing to me today was that my dad called on his way home from work to inform us that today was National Watermelon Day. - He heard it on the radio! How exciting!

I was wondering if you were going to make mention of this holiday. I can't remember now where I picked up the tidbit of info-probably via the computer.
The funny thing is that when I saw this post, I thought that you probably knew about this day just because you love watermelon. Every time I see a little girl's outfit with watermelon on it, I want to buy it for Claire!
I'm glad that some of you also knew about Watermelon Day! I have been a proud celebrator of this holiday for at least 10 years now! I love it! :-)
I saw it on Facebook yesterday and of course I thought about you and remebered our yummy watermelon "cakes" from way-back-when. :D
