Make-up Mother's Day

We finally remembered to celebrate Mother's Day when we were all together this week. When Jordan asked what I wanted for my celebratory meal, I said the first thing that popped into my head: waffles and sausage. So that's what we had, and I loved it!

Claire helped Jordan make dessert: mini orange chocolate chunk cake. And then all afternoon she asked about the cupcakes; she just wanted to eat the cupcakes that she had helped make. After dinner, she finally got to eat one! 

I was probably just as excited as Claire was! I've had my eye on these chocolate orange cakes for quite a while. It was fabulous! I love chocolate and orange together! 

I'm glad we were able to celebrate Mother's Day together! I just love being Claire's mom!
