Mission District

The day after the baseball game, Stephen and Mel had to leave town to go back to their boys. But we got to stay one more day! After having lunch with them before they left for the airport, we went to the Mission District. I love these doors!

Churches, churches, churches

More cool doors

Jordan really wanted to get some real Mexican food, and I'm all for that, so we ventured into a place where everything was in Spanish. There were some guys at the bar watching a futbol game on tv. The ladies working there spoke to us in Spanish. And they had Coke in a bottle. What's better than that?!!
We both got pupusas- Salvadoran stuffed masa flatbread. They were incredible! I cleaned my plate that night!

We also took a walk to find a big mural in this part of town. Some of it was on the side of a McDonald's, some was on other buildings, and some was by a parking lot. Jordan said that this section totally reminded him of Brasil.

I'm glad we explored the Mission District a little bit!
