After the drive down Lombard Street, we drove across the Golden Gate Bridge and went to Muir Woods. Muir Woods was the first National Monument built in an urban setting, and it's full of coast redwoods. They are stunning and so beautiful. We had a great (but too short) walk through the woods.
When Claire sees this picture, she says, "Silly Dad!"
It was so peaceful there. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we had to get on the road again because we had other things on our agenda before we had to head back to town and go to the airport.
